Henry Darger

I'm watching a dvd about the Chicago artist Henry Darger (1892-1973), the reclusive artist who died and left behind a 15,000 page novel and thousands of paintings of his make believe war. The book is titled In the Realms of the Unreal and tells the story of 8 sisters who lead a revolt on behalf of the enslaved children of their world. I've seen his stuff before but I think he is generally mis-characterized. He's not really some creepy sexual predator at all but one of the most original, prolific artists of the 20th century. Server Down

Here at workthe server 4 is down again this morning. It went down yesterday at around 2 and no one did much of anything after that. So i'm starting this fucking blog because i don't have anything else to do. Yesterday I passed the time by working on some graphics for my new website- i'm going to be treating it like a real project so i'll do some concepting ahead of time and have a plan. i had a drug fueled vision of it last night but I think i forgot what it was all about. I'm thinking an oldschool PC as the main UI with some animated gifs exported from poser and whatnot.
